I had used this a couple of weeks ago now 8 searches show up when I log into it from mse, 7 of them for the same day is there anyway to get them cleared up as it looks a mess i cannot understand why there are is not just 1 or 2, 8 seem over the top for identity check?

Thanks for your feedback.

To get your credit score and eligibility chances, we make "soft searches" on your credit file within Credit Club. These various stages require individual searches at Experian, but we are working with it to try to streamline how this works and how the searches show on your file.

This means that when you log in to view your file, you will be able to see that we have searched it, but lenders won’t so there’s be no impact on your ability to get credit.

However, just to make it clear, if you go on to apply for a credit card or loan through Credit Club, the lender will do a "hard search" on your credit file to check they’re willing to lend to you, and for ID checking purposes. This search will be visible to other lenders searching your file.
