Loan ppi question

Hi,

My wife had a loan with ppi which she defaulted on due to being out of work for a few months, after 6 months she got a job and continued to pay the loan back to whoever had been passed it by the bank, paying the full amount eventually.

Can she claim the PPI back or is that not possible due to the default, even though she did pay the full value eventually? Thanks

Did she not claim on the PPI when she was out of work? What is her reason for complaint, and when was the loan taken out?

As she has fully settled the loan there is no reason why she should not complain.
