Store Card PPI Claim

Hi
We are looking to make a claim on our Debenhams Credit Card. I suspect it was taken out around 2001-2003. We have submitted a claim via Newday who came back to us and said they could not help but to try Santander. I have read that some people have applied and had success via Genworth who were the underwriter at the time but others have had success via Santander. Do i submit a claim to both or do i try Santander and if this gets turned down can i go to Genworth?
Thanks in advance for any assistance over the matter
Neil

Santander are currently paying out re PPI on store cards from the then Arcadia Group of stores (Debenhams, DP, Top Shop + 8), having taken on that historic liability.
Their PPI team are helpful and can often provide account numbers over the 'phone by searching on a name and address.
If rejected, you can approach Genworth (the underwriter) or FOS (Ombudsman). Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0
