Generator with nail gun problems

hi,
I have a Honda eu20 generator (1600 rated watts / 2000 max watts / 8 amps) and a Titan stapler / nail gun (cant find info on wattage but others seem to be 800 - 1200 watts). Running generator on full or eco mode the nail gun is very weak and only partially drive the nail/staple... I have also tried a tac wise 191e nailer and it has the same problem.
I imagine this has some thing to do with startup power draw by the tool as it is such an immediate and full demand but am looking to confirm this and what sort if any generator could manage it?
many thanks,
jon

Googling for a Titan Manual gives these reasons for poor power:Titan_Manual wrote:2.1 Extension cord not suitable for operation with this product
2.2 Power source (e.g.generator) has too low voltage
2.3 Air vents are blocked
It also suggests power supply needs to be 240 Volts, 9 Amps, so it sounds like you are pretty much on the limit for your generator.0 -
Perfect. I'd been through the manual looking for wattage or amp requirements and had been blind to both! Thanks.0
