Hot water trickles out of bathroom taps

Hello,
The mixer tap in both the main upstairs bathroom and ensuite (back to back) runs cold water freely, but just trickles out hot.
The bath also has a mixer tap and that runs fine both hot and cold.
I thought it might be an air block in a pipe, but have drained the water system and slowly turned the taps back on with no improvement.
Downstairs the water runs fine both hot and cold.
We have a tank in the loft for hot water.
Anyone experienced similar or any plumber who can help diagnose this problem?

1. What sort of hot water cylinder, vented or unvented?
2. Are the affected mixer taps new?
3. Are the affected mixer taps shower valves, and if so, are they thermostatic valves?
4. Is this a new problem, and if so has any work been done on the plumbing system?0 -

1. The header tank feeds the hot water cylinder so I think that's vented
2. 8-10 years old (and not used regular for a number of those)
3. Don't think so - it's really just a spout where both hot and cold come out of depending on which way you turn the tap
4. No, not a new problem. Something we've lived with for a couple of years, but would love to fix now!0 -
Not these exactly, but this style of tap:

Make sure your stop tap is fully open, often these get turned down by misinformed idiots.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Kinked flex on your pipe underneath or more like the wrong taps, you have low pressure on the hot & therefore you need taps suitable for that pressureI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

Yes, no kink in pipes.
Low pressure on the hot may be the cause. We do have a third sink with same taps upstairs at front of house and hot water runs out of that. Would low pressure affect all three or could it be that one would be okay?0
