VLY and Mobious

I have 2 Mobious dashcams that have been working OK up to the other day. The problem is the showing of the date/time stamp on video playback, it has just stopped showing these when playing back through VLC Player, (2.2.6 and the previous 2.24). It still shows the date on photos.

It will not even show date/time on saved videos from weeks/months ago, but does still show on photos so I am thinking it is the VLC player as against the Mobious.

I have checked all settings and reset to default on Mobious without success, I have also uninstalled and reinstalled VLC so have the latest version. It did this a few weeks ago but seemed to reset itself back

The settings in Mobious are set for date/time on/yes.

Any ideas how I can get the date/time stamp to show on video playback?

Yes I know, and if you read the first line of the other thread I have acknowledged so.

I knew about the title mistake, don't know how it happened, but the site would not allow me to change it.

OK the problem seems to have sorted itself out again on it's own, still do not know how or why it does this.
