I am arranging payment plans with my creditors.
A couple of them have said they can no longer take payment for the debt and I must contact a company they have employed to do this for them (for example, Advantis, Transcom). Am I right to contact these guys and arrange payment with them directly? I ask because I've read that you should always pay the original creditor. So I'm not sure.

Hi,
Creditors dont have the time or manpower to deal with bad debts, so farm them out to collection agencies to mange on there behalf, looks like thats all thats happening here.
