Painting laminate furniture. Paint bubbling

I followed advice online to refurbish and repaint laminate furniture, sanded, primed and now coating with furniture paint. The last one has decided to have bubbles in the coating. Now I'm guessing the fault is in the primer? Can anyone guess what's going on?
Also, as to the bubbling paint, will I need to resand now and re prime?
Thanks

Probably a dirty surface. You should have sugar soaped everything first.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
