  • Oh forgive me Martin....again!

Well, this had been a pretty pants week all told!

It was my birthday on Monday - and not only did my mates ditch me (we were meant to go for a meal...aprox 15, EVERY LAST ONE ditched me :(, most of my extended family forgot it too! I also spent my entire b'day locked in my living room (whole house is being redecorated, it's a nightmare). It's my week off too, so it consisted of being locked in various rooms of my house. (I'm hoping this is mitigating circumstances, can ya tell :D)

    So;

Wednesday, I found myself in Lakeland. Spent £20 on gadgets like a sugar thermomater, bon bon cases, etc

Friday, I went to hobbycraft and purchased a book on candy making, and 2 make your own crackerkits. The theory is I'll make chocolates, and put them in there for work xmas presents, there goes another £20.

I also ordered some books off amazon, although I did have a £15 voucher, so I only paid £4...but still.....

Other than those, I've been quite good...although being locked up might have sommit to do with it lol.

I went into the supermarket yesterday for fruit and moisturiser and spent £10 but still have no fruit - does wine count as a fruit portion?

I'm sure it must do sweetie. I'm pretty sure that wine is a bonafide health food all round! ;) It's medicinal innit??? :D

Forgive me Martin for I have sinned, since my last confession I:

    * Spent £14.99 on a Sims2 expansion pack. :o (I feel it necessary to point out that I went via quidco daily clicks to research the best price, then go back to quidco to find out which of the cheapest suppliers gave the most cashback. GAME won, at 11%) What shall the punishment be?? :D

Ooh is that The Seasons expansion pack? I'm really lemming for that! I've been subliminally programming the kids to put it on their Christmas lists so that i can legitimately buy it. :rotfl:

PS Jo - Could you have been any more MSE about it if you'd tried??? :D

I spent quite a lot of money this week:
Clothes for hubby who burst out of his trousers
Clothes for me, as I unexpectedly got out of a pair of jeans without unzipping them :T
A little camera for me, because I haven't got one and I just want one :o

I bet you wanted a new camera with a hubby who bursts out of his trousers unexpectedly!;) :D

OO-ERR! I'm not sure this is that type of confessional. :D:p;)

Blimmin' well done on the weightloss though. :T

I scrimped and saved over the last week, just so I could do the following:

I was supposed to be meeting up with my BF on Wednesday, but he cancelled at the last minute. I'd already gone and bought things to have a suprise picnic in the park with him. Couple of pre made salads with pasta, some drinks and a couple of cakes.

When he cancelled, after the phone convo ended.....I threw a wobbly in the middle of Glasgow. I binned the lot and went home to no real food in the hosue. So had plain bolied pasta for dinner. That'll teach me to cut of my nose, as they say :o

    Awww hunneeeee!

You see that's the difference between you and me: I'd have sat down immediately on the nearest park bench and scoffed the lot all by myself - which wouldn't have been the smartest idea either. :o

Oh babe. I'm really sorry you went to all that trouble for nothing. :(

    Love Jacks xxx :D

Hehe! No, I already have seasons - its the holiday pack! You can now take them the far east etc! Im so excited!

I spent the entire day in bed yesterday eating and playing sims! It was a good day - but I think sitting for too long gave me a trapped nerve style backache - I suspect karma (or martin) is biting back for being a lazy so and so....

Forgive me Martin for I have sined.... It has been yonks since my last confession.

I withdrew 20 pounds for lunch with an old friend as a birthday thing last Sunday and she paid and that money has gone on bits and pieces (5 pounds postage for my OH to send recoreded letters, a few bits and pieces from Co-Op and fish n chips for OH and veggie burger n chips for me.

Not too bad I know, but I still feel bad, also can I 'fess up in advance? I am starving today, having worked hard solidly decorating since I left work on Friday so as well as my packed lunch I can see me nipping put for more food today.

I will join everyone else with the hail Martins.......

......dinner for two but the "nightcap" was great (mmm, also followed by £20 train ticket to get to work the morning after, must have been naughty and jumped barriers the night before - does this count as a DFW activity?????)

Bad money thing this week - mmmm, can I confess in advance but am hoping to repeat dinner;) ....watch this space!

These are the kinda confessions we like Grenwich girl!!! Do keep us posted. Will look out for more mortal sin on next weeks confessions!!!

Forgive me Martin for I have sinned...

I'd set myself a £45 weekly spend budget for last week and by Friday lunchtime I'd only spent £8 As I still haven't got the bill from the Vet I had intended to put the remaining £37 towards the vet bill, but realising that it's my neice's birthday this week, my two nephews birthdays in a couple of weeks I went shopping and blew the lot on 5 complete Christmas presents and 5 part presents (and no birthday present for neice this week)

So I'd like to confess that I'll be taking more money to buy her a present!

I promise to try harder next week!

    Oh dear...

I spent £43.37 of my weekly unnecessary spend on so much chocolate it'll make me sick, beer, and a takeaway on Saturday night... Oops.

I did really well all last month - will pray for forgiveness and get back on track... :)
