I scrimped and saved over the last week, just so I could do the following:

I was supposed to be meeting up with my BF on Wednesday, but he cancelled at the last minute. I'd already gone and bought things to have a suprise picnic in the park with him. Couple of pre made salads with pasta, some drinks and a couple of cakes.

When he cancelled, after the phone convo ended.....I threw a wobbly in the middle of Glasgow. I binned the lot and went home to no real food in the hosue. So had plain bolied pasta for dinner. That'll teach me to cut of my nose, as they say :o
Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
This time I'm on top of it! We live and learn :coffee:
  • I spent €15 (£10.48) on boozing last night, and all I have to show for it is a hangover and stupid tiredness from getting in at 6am. But it was fun! Oh, and I'm going to Poland tomorrow with people from my course so I imagine next week's confession will be slightly longer. Oops....

I spent £120 getting the car fixed yesterday, but looking on the bright side, at least I wont wake the whole neighbourhood any more when I go out :o

I bought an AV scanner so I can (finally) watch the LCD TV I was given last Christmas in the kitchen. It was a need really as otherwise it meant running cables through the ceiling from the TV and a normal aerial doesn't work as I'm in an awful area for reception. Also got £5 off with a Tesco code so it cost £22.

I bought an all in one printer, scanner, photo printer, copier. £45 instead of £100 in Tesco. The printer I had was fine if a cheapy but I blame Facebook  as I wanted to post loads of university photos on it and I don't have a scanner. As my old printer needed a new cartridge, I can almost justify buying a new printer............but not quite.........:p (had lots of fun scanning photos though!)

IA - you ARE lucky!! I love little kitty-cats, am thinking of getting one myself (though over Christmas when I'm off work for a bit so I can spend time helping it settle in... and harrassing it for cuddles probably) - they're not THAT expensive are they...?

And Chloe - TWELVE Wispas?! I wish I'd had that kind of forethought, I could just eat one now!

OK... Forgive me Martin for I have sinned; since my last confession I have

    - failed to take in a packed lunch EVERY SINGLE DAY last week and must have spent at least a tenner on food while at work.

That's about it though, so here's to a better week starting tomorrow...

Tete - the ironic thing is that I don't like chocolate! I just love wispas! I was so excited when I heard they were coming out again, I know its against DFW/MSE principles but I am going to buy a stock of them to last me. Hopefully they will be around for a little while though
