Stop predictive text Lenovo A10

Yes I have googled but when I get to keyboard, I only have the choice of 2 keyboards, their is no further choice on either to switch it off! Any ideas?

Not sure which version of Android your L10 runs but I've found the following (granted it's for smartphones)-would imagine the process is similar for a tablet:

Those menus as shown just don't appear, it's only English or English Indic keyboards, no further menus are available.0

Predictive text is typically turned on and off via settings / language and input. I just checked this Lenovo tab 2 A10 which had a recent OTA update to android 6.0 and there is no predictive text but it does have a spell check option and that can annoyingly change what you type too. That OTA above kept getting swapped to it's but since I capitalised it it gets capitalised instead which is ok.0

Switched off spellcheck,, but it still does it!0
