But this amazing prize gives you a year’s worth of front pages to celebrate. The London Illustrated News was first published in 1842, the world’s first fully-illustrated newspaper. A weekly publication until 1971, and monthly thereafter, the personalised Illustrated London News Archive Book is dependent on the year you choose. Pick a date between 1930 and 1988: any year until 1971 will receive the full run of newspaper front pages for that year, while between 1971–1988, the book will include 12 front pages from that year plus 50 iconic ones from the publication’s history.
