Defaults and dropping off Credit Report

Hi, Quick question on defaults. I have a few back from 2012 when I got into a mess and had to enter a DMP. Looking through my credit report, The loans in question state 'Account opened' June 2012, and then shortly after shows defaults every month until I finally paid them off in 2015.
Question is, will these drop off from the first registered default when I defualted back in 2012, or will these drop off 6 years from when closed?
Thanks all
