however , there is no case untill a NTK arrives , why tip them off , ?
AWAIT a NTK , nothing may come of this , if CRacola get there act together and realise that non of the car park staff issued tickets to a "stray" car that had sat abandoned on there land for several weeks , then they should come to the conclusion of this being a "double dip"Save a Rachael

if the company are so stupid as to pursue this , they are idiots!
all you need is ONE receipt for the car between 25/07 and 16/08 showing its whereabouts , ie , garage service , speeding fine , council parking ticket , etc etc and they would be publicly ridiculed
however: expect them to state that you entered the wrong VRN into the machine the first time
sit back , do nothing ,DO NOT ring them , if they are so thick , let them be ridiculed
Many thanks again Pappa Golf.
I DO have a couple of receipts on me, and pics taken on my phone also, which records time and date of pic taken.
Tickets from :
1. Derby - car park with my VRN printed on it, on 31.07.17.
2. Wolverhampton - car park with a pic of my car and the payment machine of that car park on 02.08.17.
But you'e absolutely right and I will definitely wait now till i receive a NTK and take it from there.
If they do state that I still had not entered my VRN correctly....will there still be anything to pay due to that..or wait and see at this point?
Many thanks again.0 -

I would also copy in David Dunford, Data Sharing Manager at the DVLA, as this case has potential DPA breach issues.

Use the kind of information from your first post as the basis of the complaint.
Thank you Umkomaas...
I appreciated you getting this for me, saves so much stress and worry when you have no idea where to begin!
As Pappa Golf, has suggested I think i will wait now till they contact me. Then take from there.
But I have made a note of what you have given me also and David Dunfords details too.
Do appreciate your help and time.0 -
But really...So Far...even this info and guidance from knowledgeable people like you all, is a Godsend.
At 48, one of the only times really get to chill with my 24 yo and 16yo is for a movie now and then.
We can discuss and analyse each movie and rave about it on the way back. Lessons in life in all movies I guess...
.but this time...it was silence! Just silence! And bless them...they were probably as worried as me. Especially when they know...self employed is ..well..not good when its slow!
So...forums like this..and all generous people like yourselves...taking time out your lives to answer and help others means the world. Thank you .0 -

Over 200,000 tickets issued in 2.5 years - and have only ever appeared at the small claims court once in that time. And that could easily have been a non-parking related case, even if it was, a 1:200,000 chance is pretty good odds for you, methinks! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
