Someone near here is raffling her £1m house, she's looking into the legalities of it as it worth so much (may need to add a skill question)

As these are not run for charity and pretty much avoid (legally) the rules on lotteries I can see this being cracked down on, perhaps a 25% tax on ticket receipts but with the gross value of sales being considered the "sale value" for stamp duty purposes.
