Wrong Item sent - my rights to return?

Hi All,
Purchased an item on eBay - they sent out the wrong size (it is a new mattress topper). I've asked for a return and they say I have to cover the costs. I was aware if I wanted a return due to changing my mind but wondered what my rights are given an incorrect item was sent to me?

yeah you should get returns costs really, easiest thing is to open a case for item not described & you'll get a prepaid label for RM automatically but if you open a case using the reason 'wrong size' it'll go down as a regular return & you'll have to fund its return.

So just be careful when ticking the boxes

Can you get a photo of it, next to a tape measure, compared to the listing ?

Thanks! That's helpful. I've emailed seller so hopefully they will change their mind, otherwise will have to wait and open a case - so annoying as its a big item and I'm in a one bed flat!!
