Hi
The driver works in the community with the elderly mental health and took a client wheelchair user but no blue badge into town . Parked in a convenient place for the wheelchair looked around and saw a pay station read it and paid 50p .
When they returned they had a parking ticket stating that they had failed to display a valid p&d ticket . It turns out that the ticket that they bought was for the disabled section but there was nothing on the machine stating this when they went back to check there was a sign about 7 foot in the air but it is not clear and to be honest it would have thought that it would be better to put it on the machine .
They spoke to the attendant who was very off had and just said appeal it then. The driver was fuming as thry had bought a ticket just not the correct one

Do they need to pay this

Thank you

At the top of the main page just under where you clicked on the New Thread button.

It is essential reading and tells you how to appeal and when using the BPA template in blue. Do NOT reveal the driver's identity. Just cut and paste and send the appeal exactly as it is.

You need to take pictures of the sign and how it's located

Was this a council ticket ? or from a private company

The problem with parking attendants is that they grew up
wanting to be a police officer, they failed the test and ended
up being a parking drongo. Feel sorry for them, it takes a lot
    to become a drongo
