If you need it to be a quick process you probably will need to pester them. We are 14 weeks in and still waiting to exchange. I haven't pestered at all just sent the odd email. Mind you they are very busy so if are people ringing them twice a day that won't be very helpful.

Hopefully it won't be that late long!
I've been good, and haven't called them since yesterday (to pay for the searches, so a necessary call) :) .

I find it frustrating that they expect that turn around if it's not actually likely! I did email the HA asking what their timeframe was(before we paid for the reservation), explained that I knew most sales took 6 weeks at least, and they still confirmed they wanted it all wrapped up in 28 days.

Despite pressure ours took about 7 weeks for all the little bits and pieces.

We left our solicitors to it tbh rather them be working than answering our questions but they did have a decent portal outlining when they hit each stage etc

Oh, a portal would be good, no portal with this company (as far as I know)

I would consider that to be pretty quick!

Ours took 12 weeks to go through, that was from the day we instructed the solicitors to completion.
We were FTB's and moved into a vacant house.

It's simply too weed out time wasters. The HA has cash tied up in the property that it will wish to use elsewhere.
