Parking charge what to do?

Hi I received a parking charge notice on 31st May. following a visit to a community hospital for a work meeting. I am a physio and was meeting with some GPs. I didn't have any change so i paid over the phone. When i came out i received a message saying they hadn't received my text confirmation of my registration number and it hadn't worked. I thought it was too late now so i left. I was in the car park for less than an hour.
I then received a penalty charge notice. I sent in an appeal (not using your site, error!) and sent pictures of the text message i had sent and received. I paid the charge as i didn't want it to increase and received a letter saying they were rejecting my appeal. I then received a letter today from DRP saying i haven't paid and i now owe 160 pounds. It turns out I hadn't completed the payment. I now don't have . a copy of the letter they had sent to me following the appeal.
What do you suggest i do?
Many thanks

Assuming you want to pay then pay up.
Otherwise read up on this in the newbies faq thread.
You are now in the debt collectors stage (Ignore drp!)
If they subsequently try court action then come back for advice on defending it if and when it happens - they have 6 years to try legal action0 -
Have you tried reading the comprehensive guide, the one at the top of this forum that tells Newbies to read it first? If not (and very few people seem to notice it) give it a read as it answers your questions.0

Thank goodness, you somehow are not able to finish payments, and so (happily) you saved yourself from a scam.I paid the charge as i didn't want it to increase and received a letter saying they were rejecting my appeal. Which PPC? Please read the NEWBIES thread, the section in post #4 about ignoring the debt collector letters - hugely tedious and nothing to write here about. It's been done to death - ignore DRP.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
