Debt Recovery Plus letter for PCN - Premier Parking Solutions

Hi All,
I received a letter a few days ago for a PCN from Debt Recovery Plus. I'm the registered keeper, DRP traced my address from another source as my DVLA keeper details are out of date (which I realised and have now corrected).
The charge is £160
Reason for Issue: Unauthorised Parking
Date: 05/04/2017
My partner parked in a space they thought was valid, and paid. We have the digital receipt from myringo. We believe the signage was inadequate. Unfortunately I can't attach images in this forum.
What I understand so far:
I've read the Newbies notice and from what I understand the template letter I need to use is the one for IPC members below, I've highlighted sections I have added - what can I expect to come from this once I send it by email?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Dear Premier Parking Solutions Ltd.
Re PCN number: XXXXXXX
I am the keeper of the vehicle and am aware of your purported 'parking charge'. The driver will not be identified. I require the following information so that I can make an informed decision:
1. Who is the party that contracted with your company and are they the landowner?
2. Is your charge based on damages for breach of contract? Answer yes or no.
3. Please provide photos of the signs that you say were on site, which you contend formed a contract with the driver.
4. Please provide all photographs taken of this vehicle.
5. Please provide proof that the timing of any camera or timer used was synchronised with all other cameras and/or systems & machines.
Do not send debt collector letters and do not add any costs, which would be a thinly-veiled attempt at 'double recovery'. I will not respond to debt collectors and to involve a third party would be a failure to mitigate your costs as well as deliberate and knowing misuse of my data.
The Driver paid for parking on the specified date – I’ve attached the receipt. I’ve also attached photos of the space where the car was parked. There are no notices to state this space is unauthorised. Your site is not compliant with the IPC Code of Practice in terms of signage at this site.
You have obtained my data from the DVLA without reasonable cause, please take this as formal notice that I reserve the right to sue your company and the landowner/principal, for a sum not less than £250 for any Data Protection Act breach. Your aggressive business practice and unwarranted threat of court for the ordinary matter of a driver using my car without causing any obstruction nor offence, has caused significant distress to me. I do not give you consent to process data relating to me or this vehicle.
I deny liability for any sum at all and you must consider this letter a Section 10 Notice under the DPA. You are required to respond within 21 days. I have kept proof of submission of this appeal and look forward to your reply.
Yours faithfully,

What I understand so far:
- I can ignore Debt Recover Plus as they are only acting for the Creditor
- I can take the Debt Recovery Plus letter as my Notice to Keeper as it's the first I've heard of the charge

you cannot appeal to DRP
read post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread, the one about IGNORING debt collectors
and read this too
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5035663
its far too late to appeal and any appeal would go to a PPC anyway, not a debt collector tasked with collection money for a PPC (so not DRP)
as I said , IGNORE drp , they are powerless0 -
It will be rejected as you are past their appeal stage by a mile (well of course it would have been rejected anyway).
Ignore DRP0 -
DRP AGAIN ?? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Totally useless firm employed by PPC's becaus they offer
a "no win, no fee service"
The PPC's take full advantage of this free service offered by DRP
DRP add on the extra £60 for themselves and by ignoring them,
they lose out and there is nothing they can do about it.
You missed your deadline to appeal to the PPC and as DRP are
simpleton debt collectors you just ignore them.
You will get more DRP rubbish letters so ignore and let them
waste their time which is becoming a habit for them.
IF, you hear further from Premier Parking Solutions Ltd <<< only
then come back here
IGNORE DRP IGNORE DRP IGNORE DRP IGNORE DRP
HOWEVER, as you say they traced you because the DVLA details
were incorrect, you should just inform the PPC of your address
and request confirmation.
Just in case the PPC starts court action at the address they have
which means you will not know and that's how people get CCJ's
through a default judgement0 -
I know I don't appeal to Debt Recover Plus and that I can ignore them.
But what action should I expect to come next if I don't send any response to Premier Parking Solutions? As the keeper should I not send over a response at all? If not am I waiting to see if they send a court letter?
... also, what is a PPC I'be googled and searched on the forum.
Thanks0 -

As said above, you just notify them of your current address
and that's all.
It's then a waiting game to see if they do anything
PPC = PRIVATE PARKING COMPANY0 -
acronyms are in post #9 I believe of the NEWBIES sticky thread (it needs a tidy by a board guide)0

Hi All,
I'm trying to gauge what my next step is here. DRP letters state I have until 06/09/2017 to pay this. Realistically I'm not going to take this to court so I need to know what the best action to take is.
If I ignore DRP letters, will I have a final chance to pay this IF Premier Parking Solutions decide to proceed to court, and will the amount owed increase significantly with this?
By doing the above could it affect my credit rating?
I haven't seen any photos of my car parked incorrectly - Are Premier Parking Solutions obliged to provide this to me?
Appreciate all advise on this so far - thanks!0 -
IGNORE DRP COMPLETELY! (Except to advise them of any address change - and advise similarly to the PPC). DRP ARE TOOTHLESS AND CAN DO NOTHING! Have you read any of the replies here?
EVERYTHING you need to know is in the NEWBIES thread. You CANNOT get a trashed credit rating unless you put your head in the sand, ignore a court claim (or don't defend or lose a defended case), ignore the resulting judgment and don't pay it. LOTS of steps before your credit rating is affected.0 -

Seems to me that you are preparing to pay a scammer ???
If you must do this, then pay the parking company £100 direct
FORGET THE DRP RUBBISH YOU DO NOT OWE THEIR £60 ADDON
Or ... you wait to see if the PPC will try anything then get all
the help you need here to dispose of them.0 -
