Windows10. Lenovo PC. Can't launch internet explorer after updates

I have a Windows 10 Lenovo PC.
64 bit. 4gb. Intel (R) Pentium (R) CPU J2900
On Friday it started to do updates when I shut down.
Today I cannot launch Internet Explorer. This is first time I've switched the PC in since Friday.
All my favourites (internet sites) have been lost.
For the brief moment it tries to launch it is just a blank page whereas it used to be MSN News before the updates.
Can anyone advise me on how to fix it.

    Type iexplore in the search box (cortana at the left of the task bar), then pin it to the taskbar

    Which edition of 10 are you on?
    On the latest Windows Preview, Edge is the only option now, not used Explorer for years myself.
    Chrome or Opera are better than Explorer or Edge IMO.

    Sorry , IE is still there, just not so visible....see post#2

    I'm going to join a Linux forum and whenever anybody posts that they have a problem with it, I'm going to say uninstall it and install Windows 3.11/95/98/SE/XP/Vista/7/10. See how you like that!!

    Thanks everyone. I typed in I explore and have got Bing.com
    But where are my favourites?
    I had a Citrix address in my favourites whihc is my employers home working portal. I can't find it.
    It's not in settings, or search history or my saves.
    Can anyone help me find where it's gone please?

    In the search bar. It will take a path and display it as an explorer window.

    The UK spelling is used if the Windows was installed with UK settings.
