Anyone else having problems getting through to Sky?
Our phone line hasn't been working for two weeks. In that time I've had to ring them four times
1. Answered after 45 minutes
2. I hung up after an hour and 15 minutes
3. Answered after 30 minutes
4. Answered after 40 minutes
Really frustrating when you're trying to get something sorted, especially when they say it will be fixed by a certain date and it isn't.

What number are you calling?
If it starts something other than 0344 or 0800, it's the wrong number.0 -
It seems that they have offshored their customer services for cost savings but at the expense of customer service.0

Yes their customer service has deteriorated alarmingly. It used to be the reason I often give for staying with them.
I'm told the best way to contact them is using the messaging function within the My Sky App.0 -

Try online webchat and, if that does not work, send an em to the asking them to contact you on your mobile at a convenient time (Note : Tell them politely that you will only speak to someone from the uk and not India. I always say this if ever I speak to any company's off-shore contact centre and they transfer me without probs).
I also suggest that you ask for compensation. You could ask for a BT Openreach engineer visit.

I'll ask again...

The Sky number is 0333 759 2898no signature0

That will be a shock,if I return then.
They were so good and PlusNet seemed terrible in comparison (lucky not to wait 45 minutes, online chat conveniently not available or cut off mid-discussion).
BT learned the error of their ways and were in the process of returning to more UK call centres, a couple of years ago.0 -

Many of Sky's old premium rate numbers still work and do not have a message telling callers to hang up and re-dial the new number.
Additionally, there are hundreds of "call connection service" scam websites promoting a variety of premium rate 084, 087 or 09 numbers for "connecting to" Sky customer services.0 -
