First National Motor Finance

Well I've bitten the bullet and am now trying to find out whether I had PPI in the past.
I have found the paperwork for a car loan which we took out in 2003 with First National Motor Finance but I don't think this company exists any more. Does anyone have up to date contact details for them?
Many thanks

I believe that First National was part of Abbey, and is therefore now part of Santander. Although it looks like First National Motor Finance Ltd hasn't traded for years. so I suspect it was somebody else trading as First National Motor Finance. Check your paperwork.0 -
If you obtained the finance through a dealer and the dealer sold you any PPI, you would need to complain to the dealer. Unfortunately its highly unlikely the dealer was regulated at the time (regulation started in Jan 2005) and can simply refuse to look at any complaint. Is there any entry on the finance paperwork in relation to PPI?0

It is unlikely that the lender carries the liability for the sale of any PPI. It is more likely that the car dealer sold the loan (and PPI) rather than the lender.
Can you confirm if you took the loan out via a car dealer or direct with the lender?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
