Just came across this offer from a link from Stoozing.com
If you go to barclays.co.uk and then click on the barclaycard link, you get a different offer, without BT fee, for 10 months.
Apart from the lack on SBT facility that makes it better than Virgin I think.

£5000 @ 5% for 10 months is still a Stoozing profit of over £200 though.
Got to be worth an application - unless you have one already like me

I have just paid off my Bardlaycard Prem CC and cancelled it this week. Do you think they will consider me for this card?Don't waste your words I don't need,
Anything from you.
I don't care where you've been or,
What you plan to do.0 -
Are you sure Barclaycard don't SBT because when I opened my BC Platinum (Aug 2004) they transferred the cash into my current account and it was 0% for 12 months.0
-
Simon,
Unlikely they will offer you one straight away, although maybe the prem card and the platinum card are different.
Jim,
I've trawled through the offer and see no mention of a BT fee on the summary box so think it is 10 months with no bt fee or 12 months with a BT fee per their 'normal' website.

No FEE but from Charges section towards end of 10-month offer page:
Cash, balance transfers and cheques: 2% (min. £2.00); 2.5% (min. £2.50) for Initial.
Reduces profit to around £1000 -
It also says 'no handling fee' for transfers made in the first 60 days.
I'm sure if there was a BT fee it would have to be more clearly stated. I guess it is worth calling to check though.Smile

Fair point.
Have now tried calling them but person I spoke to can only tell me about a 0% 'till Janary '06 with 2% handling fee - capped at £50.
Very helpfully advised that offers are changing all the time and I might want to visit a branch instead0
