Questions after applying for an upgrade to Airmiles Duo

Hi.
Yesterday on my way back from work, I dropped by a LTSB branch and asked to upgrade my Classic Mastercard (19.9%) to an Airmiles Duo. They gave me a form which says there Rate 3 (19.9%). I filled it in and they said they'll send it off for me.
Today, after thinking about it, I have a few questions:
1. Currently I have a £1000 credit limit. A few days ago when I dropped by a different LTSB branch, the manager did tell me actually I am now allowed to have £1500 (on their system). Do you think when LTSB sees the form, they will automatically increase my credit limit to £1500? (I did not apply for an increase to £1500 yet manually as I'm just 5 months into my current card)
2. Eventhough the form there says 19.9%, do you think they will give me the 17.9% (Rate 2)? My annual income has increased since when I applied for the Classic Mastercard. [If I have applied for the Mastercard now - by right I should be eligible to the 17.9%] - Not really a huge matter as I pay in full each month.
I know - I could have waited 2 weeks for the reply; however if anybody could tell me what they think that'll be great!!
