Buying a power bank

It is easy enough to find power banks on ebay for about £10 which claim to be 100000mAh. While branded products a fifth of that size claim to retail for £60 eg https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-PowerCore-Qualcomm-Backwards-Compatible/dp/B01D0WDWL8

The question is how to know where to start and how not to be ripped off!

Its main use will be to recharge a failing phone battery, or even to use the phone while plugged in. The powerbank option appears cheaper than a replacement phone battery and can be used for other purposes too.

Perhaps I'm being too harsh? But I'm guessing the "100000mAh" is make believe, and literally a result of someone writing bigger numbers to catch suckers.

Seems like a good cheap example of what I'm talking about. The listing claims to be 100000mAh.
The photographs says 1300mAh.
The description says 50000mAh.

To be honest I don't have a clue what I need - but I don't want to ripped off.

Possibly all the Chinese models are identical with a different name written on them. But if really all they mean is that they have an extra zero for good measure then a 100000mAh which is actually 10000mAh for £10 is still better value than buying elsewhere (and also better value than buying a chinese 50000mAh for £9 - but if they are the same product with better branding then a a 50000mAh for £9 may be better).

Anyone with any real experience?

Ultimately I don't need super high power, but I do need my house to not burn down with my kids in it!
