Laying artificial turf on concrete

Hi,
I recently had a shed taken down which has left a half decent concrete foundation. The plan is to put a few chairs in its place and was debating between artificial turf and decking but have decided on on artificial turf. Nothing fancy and the vast majority of it is going to be covered with chairs and tables. It's a small area, about 3x4m.
Can I just stick down the turf myself (putting the turf directly on the concrete) or is it still best to get a professional in, lay sand and other artificial turf foundation material?
Hope that makes sense.

If the concrete is smoothish, you can lay your grass straight onto it if you want. You can get adhesive to stick the grass to the concrete. Once laid, it's also worth spreading some sand over as an infill. This will help keep the pile from flattening.
If the area is quite sheltered, you can get away without the adhesive and just use the sand to weigh the grass down (if it's a good quality grass with quite a heavy backing). I've done this on our concrete balcony and it never moves. It just makes it easier to lift the grass should I ever need to.0
