We got a free 3 month artfund card when we went to Belfast a few years ago and it gave us free entry into the fab Ulster folk and transport museum. Well worth visiting as they have a whole outdoor village and staff in traditional costumes. Don't know if you can get the artfund card for free still.

We hired a car for a couple of days and went to Down where there is a good museum there in a gaol beside the Cathedral .Struell wells are also nearby. We drove to The Giant causeway and explored that and the surrounding area on another day.
