Very many people can significantly cut the cost of shampoo and conditioner by using far less. It is so easy to dollop out more than you need.

    You're not alone in this.

You're right to be concerned - 100% of people exposed to dihydrogen monoxide will die. But of course big-pharma don't want you knowing about that.

As for parabens, these are everywhere, food, normal household products. Even walking down the street you will be exposed to them.

The word is MAY cause whatever in humans.

Plain-old sand is a traditional and totally inert hair-cleanser, with no chemicals whatsoever.

Sand is mostly silica, sounds evil

Rather than subject myself to the risks of chemicals such as dihydrogen monoxide and sodium chloride I decided to err on the side of caution and just dry shave my head with a sharp razer.

But not in a stable and inert form like sand! In other forms, more finely divided or less stable, then yes it has risks.

I wouldn't risk it, personally I'd want to wrap the kids in cotton wool but I'm scared the OP might be scared of the chemicals in the plastic
