toto - i have discovered it's illegal to be above a size 14 in a shop and above a size 22 in a fabric pattern. Walked into one shop and the look of disgust and contempt was unbelievable.

That's awful, I have to say when I bought my dress I just looked at the sample racks on sale. I needed to go a size larger than normal, but everything was in a 12/14 so I had loads of choice, you're right though, I think they had 1 18 but that was the only one I saw (and it was pretty nasty looking).

But the shop should make you feel like a princess no matter how big or small and if they don't then you spend your money elsewhere. That attitude makes me mad.

    Hi peeps!

Love the cards Toto. Glad to hear the mog's settling in I-A.

Just open myself a bottle of vino, and I'm sitting here listening to Alabama 3 drinking semillon chardonnay out of a chipped mug. How rock n roll is that?(Not very.)

Not somewhere you want to be giving your custom too then.
There will be other places to go though.
My friend got married earlier this year & got a great dress reduced & shes a wee bit more than a 14.
Dont stress, it will work out in the end.

Heya everyone! Pap those cards are absolutely fab! Well done!

Hope everyone is ok! Just spent the evening watching some some silly cheerleading movie with mini-me, have eaten to many haribo and now feeling sick! I have no alcohol at home...which is a shame cause I could do with a drink! So a virtual glass for me!
