Missing Parts

Hi,
I purchased some goods online about 3 weeks ago and it arrived a few days later. I have only got round to opening the box now. It has missing parts and their terms and conditions of the sale were that I am to report any missing parts within 48 hours of receiving the order.
The terms and conditions were a checkbox thing on the payment page (if that makes a difference) ie the explicit term was not thrust in my face but snuck away on another page amongst hundreds of words.
Do I have any redress? Is 48 hours reasonable time? is 3 weeks reasonable time? What makes it worse is thats its not a big well known retailer some micro company.
Any help for the little guy again would be so much appreciated!

ok but have you started by asking the company if they can do anything?
worst case the item is faulty and you can try that route or try a chargeback on your credit card?"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
The parts are obviously important, but are they likely to be relatively cheap to supply and deliver ? Best to ask for them before going in heavy-handed, there may be no dispute to resolve.0

OP assuming you are a consumer and you purchased from a company in the UK, they can't have a 48 hour disclaimer (if that is what they have....depends on wording).
Can you post a link to their T&C's?
Try contacting them in the first instance and see what they say, but if they try to wash their hands, you may have to argue with them a bit (or depending how you paid, you may be able to remedy it that way).
More details please. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
