A similar thing happened to me last week. I received a letter after a 2 year + gap. I will ignore it as well. Maybe a new company has taken over and they are clearing up old files??Life isn't about waiting for the storm to passIt's about learning to dance in the rain0

'Someone' in my family got a similar ticket 3 years ago. We ignored all of the letters and eventually they stopped. Then last week, after about a 2 year gap, another one came in offering us settlement for £99. I will of course ignore, but strange they have started with the letters again after such a long time. I feared they had new powers but I assume not
No, this is a well known tactic of the scummers - a last ditch attempt to catch the victim off their guard and spook payment out of them.

No, they mostly use a 'new' debt collector that turns out to be just another trading name of the same old shower.0
