Hello, I spent £18.73 in Iceland yesterday, mainly on Slimming World ready meals which are expensive. However, I was in real danger of ordering a takeaway if I didn't, which would have been a disaster for both the diet and the budget. Add in £6 on cat food today and my total stands at £36.73.
I feel like that's pretty high for Day 4 without having done an actual Big Shop, so I need to give my head a bit of a shake!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I would just add that you need some veggies and try to look for cheaper options such as bananas and oranges for fruit.
There are other discount shops as well, such as F Foods, Home Bags, and the £ shops and B*M. Maybe you could do a fortnightly run to take in Al*i or L*dl and some of these others as well ?
I know it's hard when you're on a limited budget, but it does get easier as you go along and find little ways of stretching the pennies to go a bit further. Good luck

Well done purpleybat!
I'm on £29.38 now, which consists of one weekly shop and one ffoods pizza run. It's higher than I wanted it to be by this point, but shouldn't need to shop again until the 10th, ie a third through the month but not a third through the money
We had sausage plait today - 4 sausages made a plait big enough for the three of us for dinner plus my lunch tomorrow!! Love it!
PG xGrocery challenge for family of three - me, dd(12) and ds(11), feeding dp 2 or 3 x a week too. Only food, not toiletries. Jan £87.97/£100 Feb £0/£100
