Signed up for this offer as per money saving email.
Despite all the assurances to the contrary on the Sky website, got an email within 24 hours saying
"we need to add some new terms and conditions to your existing Sky TV contract "
Including new minimum term- so they have effectively restarted my contract to a new 12 month one.
So I now get to try the app to see how to reverse this or ring a premium rate number.
And the free movies on offer were terrible!
Do not do this. Thanks money saving email.

Sounds like generic small print to me. The Sky website states:No, Sky VIP is free to join and you don’t need to change your contract or
re-contract to be part of the programme.
If you are unsure then you also usually have the option of Facebook or Live Chat to contact them. As far as I know, Sky use 03xx numbers now which cost the same as 01 or 02 numbers so won't be premium rate.0 -
Premium rate telephone numbers are not used. I don't believe you have entered a new minimum term either..0
