Mulitple Balance Transfer Cards

Can and should I get more than one balance transfer card?

Living as an expat in the UK, my partner and I needed some last-minute flights back to Australia. We put the flights on my travel credit card (Halifax Clarity). Around 6 months ago I realised paying the interest was silly, so I got a £3000 balance-transfer credit card and moved around £2500 across to it.

Since then, we decided to stay in the UK and apply for a working visa through my employer; long story short, it involved more last-minute flights and some other debt, which once again was put on the Halifax Clarity card.

What should I do with this new debt? It won't fit on the balance transfer card, so I think my options are to a) look for a higher limit on the balance transfer card, b) apply for a new balance transfer card, or c) just wear the interest on the Halifax Clarity.

Is there any issues with applying for a second balance transfer card?

Thanks very much!

No issues whatsoever - other than getting accepted. As your debt rises relative to your income lenders may get less willing to take you on. Try the soft checker and see what chance it gives you. Its silly paying interest if you don't have to.
