What do I do now

Hi all.

I received a parking charge notice through the post for parking on double yellows on private land with a blue badge. (It was a road leading off a McDonald's/petrol station type area) I have appealed to them and the kangaroo court, both appeals have failed.
The company have now sent my "debt" onto a debt recovery team, namely BW Legal. They've sent me a letter advising me of this.

Do I ignore this and wait until I get court papers?

Thanks

Claire

    What parking company?
    What kangaroo court?
did you notice any signage indicating private land ( in the grand scheme of things this is not that important)
have you read the sticky thread?

Follow Half_way's post, but you really need to get up to speed with parking terms and conditions, a blue badge does not have the same meaning on private land, and double yellow lines on private land are just pretty coloured paint they do not have the same conditions attached that council ones have.

This all has the effect of a nice little earning scam for the Private Parking (scam) industry, and you seem to have been hooked in.

    Ignore the debt collectors.

Should never have tried IAS, it is considered a waste of time and many here would say, it's an embarrassment to this country that we allow such a false and (allegedly) transparently anti-consumer/PPC-biased ADR to even exist.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Is this a continuation of this incident?
