how long have you been waiting?

I filled in and returned my annual review pack at the beginning of the month and am still waiting for the wtc to work the damn thing out.

Have you returned yours yet and if so has it been worked out or are you still waiting?

Still waiting. Probably take weeks as everyone will hopefully return theirs sooner rather than later so as not to generate an overpayment.

I got mine back last week, not too bad considering hubby was out of work for a month and off sick for 6 months so they had a lot of changes they could muck up. We ended up owing them about £160 I think

you will still get your money, they have until 1st september to work it out.you cant expect them to send it back that quick.it dosent make any difference to me as long as money is in bank each week i for one am very grateful to tax credits as without them i couldnt survive , never had no problems either.we are lucky in this country that we do get the extra money in other countries people have nothing and go hungry.

I haven't even had a pack yet, last year it didn't arrive till June. There's no good reason why, we aren't a complicated case.

we had to make a new claim and close off the old one - so no tax credits for 4 weeks until it was sorted

Haven't had a pack yet, but an increased amount of WTC and Child Credit is being paid into my bank account.

I haven't sent my annual review in yet. I was planning to do my annual review at the same time as my tax return, since I guess it uses similar source info - and I've only just received all my P60's for the year.

I beg to differ. I'm not saying we're unlucky - I just think, you're speaking as though a disinterested government official has put a guilt-trip on you. Unless I'm greatly mistaken, your tax credit entitlement is laid down in law. So you needn't be counting yourself lucky, just for getting what's rightfully yours.
