Balance Transferred before card arrived

    I don't agree that the companies should wait 14 days before transferring the money. That would be annoying.

    However I do agree that the full 'terms' of the balance transfer should be stated to the customer before the transfer occurs.

    It's one thing applying for a card without knowing what terms you will get. However you should at least have the option to 'not go ahead' if you don't get what you wanted.

    It is probable that if you don't get the limit anticipated the transfer will not take place anyway.

    I wonder if you'd still be complaining about the speed of the transaction if you'd needed it to go through quickly? If you'd been made to wait 14 days but needed it to happen straight away no doubt that would be the cause of your complaint.
