  • The link should take you to the one I make - if its not working google 'bbc good food yummy scrummy carrot cake' which is my standard one.

No, the milk was a present!

I agree don't include the milk. Many of times my mum adds things onto my online shopping to bring it over the min delivery and I don't include them in my budget.

Cake sounds good! I have an anniversary cake to make this week. I'm not looking forward to it at all :o

Seriously just deleted another messag! T'is really fricking me off!!! Anyway, said I'm in the garden in the sun trying to worn out money and payments this month. Have money in PP account and money to come back from work but money to pay out for presents etc. Going to take me a little bit to get all straight. Beach was lovely today. Small ones are cooling down indoors. Not sure what to do for dinner. Haven't been shopping. Eeking it out until at least tomorrow! This £10 a week is going to still have to continue, although as I've said before, will have to up it when OH gets home!

Thanks for the recipe redo! Saved me £1.99 on walnuts! V much appreciated!

Hey hidden! Lovely to see you, and thanks, as 2 people think the milk shouldn't be included. I will not include it. Thanks! :D

I seem to have the job of cake maker at work! Which will be interesting when it's my birthday next week:D;)

Need to look at shopping list again. It's only until next Monday so should be not too bad!

Jury is out on the pizza, base was ok, but I could only use a little bit of cheese, and I think I over seasoned the tomato sauce . Should find a recipe for it in future! Feeling really flat and glum right now. Not sure why?! Lot on my mind I guess. Hope you're all enjoying your bank holiday.

Just sat and did some work for an hour and a half, am sick of working at the moment. Everything is just so busy! Think that is why I've felt so glum, worrying about work! Am in bed now wishing I'd brought a cup of tea up with me 'sigh' I could get one but I'm just too lazy. Pretty tired too. Have got a busy day tomorrow. Running around. Small ones need a shower in the morning and I could do with some more work being done. Need to pop into the city v first thing for a couple of bits for work colleagues birthday, could do without it but there you go, then need to drive to village to pick up ex bike for grandad, then drive to friends, to then come home in time for an eBay pick up. Need to go to aldi at some point and the post office to get parcels!!!!!!! Not quite sure how I'm going to manage all of that! Feeling a bit stressed just thinking about it.

Have just realised we don't need lunches until Friday! At friends tomorrow, I'll have leftovers wed and thurs at work. Children will be at MIL's. Then it's back to school next week, as both children are in the lower years we won't need to worry about lunch either by the second week of term when May starts all day.
She's too small to go to school :(

Think I'm going to need to get up early. Will stick small ones in the bath I think, so I can do a bit more work. Want to be out of the house by 9ish. Gosh so much rushing about to be done! No idea in dinners this week. Meatballs prob Friday, left over cottage pie for these tomorrow. Wed they're at MILs and I'll just have cereal or toast, Thursday will be smiley faces pizza as I'm at work until late. I'm getting there with food. Freezer and fridge and cupboards are just rammed still!!!!
