Plusnet not honouring argos sim only deal

Yesterday I put my details in to the argos sim only deal and it said your application has been sent to plusnet. Plusnet will now be in contact with you within the next 24 hours to complete your application. Then a few hours later I missed a call from plusnet so they left a voicemail to say if I wanted to go ahead with ordering a sim give them a call. I've now phoned plusnet and they said they know nothing of the deal and was I sure it was plusnet that called me and what was the number. They then told me to contact argos if I want the deal.

Did you call back on the number left on the VM?
The deals you refer to are administered by Compare Technology. It could have been them that called you. If you contact Argos they should be able to give you contact details.0 -
They said they was from plusnet and the number they called from was for plusnet.0

Yes I called the number on the voicemail and they said they don't have any record of my order so I should contact argos or place the order again. I then placed the order again and I get the same message that your application has been sent to plusnet. Plusnet will now be in contact with you within the next 24 hours to complete your application. I have now missed another call from PlusNet while I was in the shower so I phoned them straight back and I was told again they don't have any record of my order. They say they don't know about any argos deal so they put me on hold while they go and check but when they come back they say they seen the argos deal but when they tell you about it it's not the argos deal but the one they have for offer on their site.BorisThomson wrote: »Did you call back on the number left on the VM?

Maybe this is a warning to you that you should look elsewhere for a SIM only deal, there are plenty out there.0
