We have just had a Siematic installed and are delighted with the quality and the ability to add further storage on the doors.0

As a kitchen retailer here are some ground realities -
German Kitchens are called kitchens in Germany. They happen to be made in Germany. Germans are generally good at manufacturing and their standards of manufacturing of mass produced goods are far higher than almost all other countries and among the best in the world. So when you buy a German manufactured kitchen, you are buying a product built around a market than is less accepting of substandard products. Having said that there are differences in quality between German products depending on the price point and target audience of the brand so not all German kitchens are the same but almost all of them are better than almost all locally made kitchens. Its a bitter reality and that gives rise to the myth that they are German so they must be expensive and all good.
Like I said some are better than others so you need to get behind that smoke and mirrors that is marketing (which incidentally is true for all products but more true for German kitchens within the kitchen world) and find out why one product is better than the other and justify for yourself any pricing premium that may exist. I say may exist because some are inferior but dearer and others better but cheaper. A text book example of this is a well known brand sold through a respected national retailer. A bit of research will highlight who this is - the worst case IMO of overpricing.
I dont particularly rate Stormer very highly, though they do offer some unique design features. If you are having these features, then you have to accept the rest of the package. Else look at other products that will offer you better value. We’ve had to remove your signature.
