Sorry if this has been posted before:
I want to book my Summer 2018 holiday but the accommodation I want isn't coming up with Thomas Cook, my husband keeps telling me to wait till Jan as he thinks that they 'Hold Back' an allocation for certain apartments
My question is does anyone know if the travel company do this?
Thank you
Emma

Maybe TC are not selling them in 2018
Have you looked at DIY are the apartments available in any other website or direct0 -
I worked in travel for years and never heard of a TO holding back specific accommodation or even percentage of that accommodation (unless it was on stop sale for some reason). Better to sell it than sit on it and risk being left with it.
TC have dropped a lot of accommodation for next summer because it didn't meet their standards. Which apartments are they?0 -
they are selling them but there not coming u anymore, I just wondered if there was any tour operators on here whom would know?0

I was looking at Costas Apts in Kalamki in Zante, they have them for sale in April/May this year for next year but now there not coming up. I think they have sold out but other half seems to think that come Jan they will have then back on... I agree with you but I just thought that I would ask the question.
Thank you0 -
When are you looking for, I have just selected dates for Aug/Sept 2018 on Thomas cook website0
-
They're showing available all through Summer 2018.0

I am seeing them also.
I did a check ex LGW for July 2018.
They are loaded under Airtours but coming up on the TC website.
What dates and departure airport are you searching? I guess if you still can not see them on a search that it could be a mapping issue with TC if not linked to a particular regional UK departure point.0 -
I was looking at:
30/07 or 12/08
14 nights
LGW
2AD & 2 CH
I think its because I am a family of 4, they have rooms for 2/3 but no apts.0 -
I'm not a travel agent but I can see availability.
When doing a search on the website make sure the 'I am flexible' button is ticked.
There is 7 night availability on 30/7 from LGW but not 14 night. For that duration, with the flexibility box ticked, the flying changes to 1/8 and shows availability. In both cases one one room indicated as available.
There are no Tuesday flights from LGW which is why nothing comes up on 12/8 (without the flexibility button ticketed).
LGW flights to ZTH are listed as being on Mon/Wed/Thu/Sun.
If you are struggling with doing this on line you can do it the old fashion way and call them or visit a travel agent. Don't stress about it - it's your holiday...0 -
Yeah the problem appears to be they don't have the 2 room apartments available, only studios which they won't give you for 4travelover0
