House Inherited

My fiance and her 3 brothers (one who's only 11) inheritted a house when their mother died. Her youngest brother now looks like he will be coming to live with us. The trouble is they're all wanting to sell the house but unsure of what can be done as the house is held in trust for the little brothers share. One of the brothers seems to think it can be and then the little brothers share kept in trust and invested until he is old enough to take control of it. I personally wasn't to sure about that and have been asked to see if I know. I thought this would be a good start

you need a solicitor as whether the house can be sold will depend on the wording of the will.

not being funny but has anyone checked with the wee lad if he is ok with losing the house he grew up in so soon after his parent.

familys can be funny and i wouldnt blame you for not wanting to bring it up but sometimes people can just roll over you thinking "i want the money" not thinking about the best interest of others.

if the others are cash strapped then the could always borrow against the equity

That's the first thing the misses checked. Wasn't the family home tbh, just the one they lived in for the last year. He isn't fussed about that, he just wants to live with his sister now and who would I be to stand in the way of that. I'm really proud of the misses through this as it's all about her brother and nothing else for her.
I think the solicitor advice is the best thing from my thoughts and at least someone on here agrees with me so probably the best place to start. Thanks
