I would never take a 6 year old to Malta, went there once, and hated it. But thats just my opinion. You can't go wrong with Spain/Canaries/Turkey there are always places you can take kids, the beach, water parks, boat trips etc. In my opinion, the best place for a 6 year old is Florida but i appreciate it will be expensive ! If you're not prepared to pay more in the school holidays then look into whether you will be fined and weigh up the cost difference.0

One type of holiday which doesn't have a silly season for pricing in school hols is cruising. Loads of choice and very safe.0

It all depends what you enjoy.
We took a 6 year old on a tour of 3 countries in Asia - she had a ball. We organised the flights and booked hotels independently. Far cheaper than a package and flights booked a year in advance so they were cheap.
A 6 year old will go along with what you want as long as there is time in a pool and food on regular occasions.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
