I stopped and started many times over the course of a few years, but then last year day before my birthday i said id stop... i made a promise to a friend and ive kept it.

I dont know what the steps are.
But before i stopped completely i spent 3 months cutting down.... i used to say ok you are allowed 1 gamble in 5 days .... and then 1 gamble a week..... then 1 gamble per 10 tens... etc eventually i felt less of a need to do so.I WILL GET THERE.0 -
Todays new total is £9037.75.
Knocked £10 off my overdraft and lowered it by £10 so i can't even respend the money! Halifaxs new overdraft fees has scared me into sorting myself out!

Lowering is by £10 is a brilliant idea, completely eliminates the temptation to use it again.
