My debt journey has been up and down....mainly up... (as in i make alot of debt!!!!) I am in my 20's and I am a recovering gambling addict! I decided that I wasn't going to focus on tackling my debts until the idea of "oh one more bet could win me money and change my life" was out of my head.
Right now I am 9 months clean and I feel like when it comes to money my whole mindset is changing. I am glad that I have waited until now to focus on clearing debt because I think I could have fallen back into the gambling whole otherwise.
Over the course of the last 9 months I have paid my minimum payments but not really looked at what it will take to clear the debt. I am a long time lurker of this forum and I am going to document my journey!
I work part time whilst I study so i am always looking for extra ways to make money from my laptop! (Thats not gambling!!!) Ebay, surveys, etc etc!. I probably bring in my part time income again each month from online ventures
My goal is to get debt free by the end of 2018
I will come back with totals. I know that I have managed to pay off around £2k in the last 9 months with little effort so imagine what i could do if i put my mind to it

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.
