Help with cheap train ticket please

Im going to bedfordshire from slough on monday. Could someone help me out finding a cheap return ticket? Im leaving monday, returning wednesday. Im rubbish at searching sites, comparing prices etc. And my 2 year old wont let me sit here for long!:rotfl: Thankyou

You won't get one. These are all suburban lines with standard fares, the same whether you buy in advance or on the day.
Depending on where you go in Bedfordshire, you can get a saver return for about £25. You can't use it in peak hours in either direction.
Or you can get a standard single in each direction - say £22 each way.
Prices will vary a few pounds depending on your destination station, but not much
I think these prices will include the underground transfer to Euston/St Pancras/Kings Cross/Farringdon.0 -

You'll be OK as long as you get a local train from Paddington to Slough and not a high speed one - the latter are banned for savers between roughly 4pm and 7pm.0 -
