'Inverse' corner TV unit

Hi all,
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a corner TV unit, but the other way round?
What I mean is not one which sits in side a corner, but one which wraps around it. Where we want to put our TV, there's a corner wall sticking out into the room. So a unit which had the corner cut out of the back, allowing it to 'wrap round' the corner would be ideal, but we can't seem to find anything.
We'll be viewing the TV facing the corner angle dead on, if that makes any sense.

I imagine you may be able to easily create one if you bought 2 wooden TV benches and cut/joined them at the angle you need (E.G the cheap ones in IKEA)0

You probably can't find 1 as its an odd shape to fit 1 round.0

As ST1991 has said, you could create one from two units. Or buy a wooden unit that can be altered. You'd need a unit where you could cut out the triangle needed to fit around the profile of the wall but still be structurally sound, or where you could add some supporting struts if needed.
If you can't find one suitable, or you don't have the DIY skills or tools to do it, consider a wall-mounted bracket for the TV instead.0 -

I'm glad you said that. That was my idea, as we've got a unit already that we really like, so I was going to cut a triangle out of the back! At least I'm not mad

Doable with the right starting unit.
Some Ikea stuff used composite board that does take a bit more work to keep structurally sound.
Modern LCD Tv are light so not a massive problem.
The problem may be getting the other boxes to fit(if you have them).0 -

That's a good point, but to be honest the unit we have is really deep, so the Sky box, DVD player, PlayStation etc all sit in the front half, if you see what I mean. I think taking a chunk out is very doable, even if it's only a few inches to save a bit of floor space.
Don't think it'll affect too much structurally either, but I can always knock up a couple of upright pieces as supports at the back if it's starting to look a bit flimsy.0
