Hi
Windows 10. Internet Explorer 11
There's a video that is on a website that no longer plays, it just gives me the loading pls wait circle going round and round, this is on internet explorer 11 and Microsoft edge. Everything was working fine up and till i installed windows 10 update (creators version or something ) after it prompted me to.
The same video works fine on chrome?
What can i do or check? I've googled and checked the basics like shock player is showing as enabled. I've cleared browsing history and cache. i also uninstalled the updates but that didn't work either so I re installed it.
Its no big deal as it works on chrome but why has it suddenly stopped on IE and Edge?
Any ideas?
Thanks

It stopped on IE and Edge because MS have failed to properly complete the bug testing. Maybe they need to employ some of the staff they laid off a while back?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Is it a Flash video by any chance? Didn't Edge stop (or never even allow) automatically allowing Flash or something?0

so changing the settings or installing anything will not fix the issue? its just that i prefer IE than chrome0

IE11 on W10 is crap. Mine is so slow it's like a pensioner compared to a young sprinter like FF or Chrome.0

If you actually want to test this, test that Flash is working, and test in different browsers, that will help you pinpoint the problem. Let us know what works in what browser...0

Things to try :-
Make sure ActiveX filtering is not enabled
Turn off tracking protection
Download LATEST flash
same for java
same for silverlight
Make sure they are all enabled in "manage add-ons"

so activeX is not enabled, tracking protection is already off, ive downloaded latest java which shows enabled in add ons, ive downloaded Silverlight (but doesn't show in manage add ons), and as far as flash is concerned, when I download it, I get told its integrated with internet explorer in win 10
