Electric shower options that look good?

So the plan now is to get a central electric water heater. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what size and setup i will need for a small one bed flat?0

Cheapest initial install is a cylinder with an immersion heater and header tank. Do you have a loft above?
Better solution is a mains pressure cylinder - more initial outlay but better performance.
There's too many options to list, but those are the main ones that spring to mind.

No loft, limited places to put the tank as well. How much would a mains pressure cylinder cost and how big are they typically?0 -

That's your starter for ten, plus obviously pipework, electrical and labour costs.
I would suggest that 120l is the MINIMUM you'd want - and the best setup is if you have 'economy7' type supply for Electric in your property.

Update here: After tearing down more of the flat I've found there is a very small water heater (~10ltr) that supplies the bath (and possibly bathroom sink, pipework is under the floor so not too sure yet), and the the kitchen tap with hot water, with the shower being a separate electric unit. I'm completely stripping this flat out, the kitchen will be where the bathroom is and bathroom where kitchen is, so I will be getting a plumber to move all the pipes to where they need to be. I will also need the electrics redone so theyre in the right place (and also because its been done very badly). Is it still the best idea for me to remove the heater and shower and just put a tank in as above?0
